BRIGHT SIDE
It's been a difficult year, and I'm not sure what lies ahead, but I'm hoping for a better year. Many people talk about establishing a profession, earning money, marrying a millionaire, and so on, but if you ask me, all I want to do is go out one evening. I'd like to have dinner with my friends or family and maybe talk about my old days, which I sorely miss. In addition, I have a fantastically unlikely concept running through my mind Like going to the hills and settling down, not caring about this life at all, but everybody has impossible aspirations of life that they wish to realise. Perhaps it's time for students like us, or like me, who expected to have a good career after graduation or who planned to study abroad but are now stuck at home due to this, to attend online lectures. or working in as a trainee? or in a position you despise? I believe Covid has shattered many young dreams, but I prefer to see the bright side, because there is one. So I'll talk about myself because it'll be easier for me to show you the bright side and assist you in figuring out yours?
I've never read a book in my 20 years of life, so during lockdown I borrowed a fascinating book from a friend, started reading, and to my surprise, began to enjoy it. But reading a book is not like watching a movie; every step is explained slowly and in depth so that you live the book rather than just read it. Well that is the uniqueness of the book.
I started reading 30 pages a day and learning new songs on my keyboard (piano), loving the soft music and getting to know my fingers better. It's almost like they're developing a friendship, not to be dramatic, but music is something you have to love to understand.
My teacher used to tell me that I had long fingers like I was made for it somewhere when I was in keyboard class (pre-covid), so it was kind of unique. So, coming back, in the evenings, I used to go to my old house, which is an old building that I left a couple of years ago but is just about 5 minutes away, and that place is full of memories for me with all of my friends that I grew up with. My coolest friends, who have been like family to me. We used to work out, eat, laugh, celebrate birthdays, and watch beautiful sunsets together during lockdown, and I can honestly say that those were the most peaceful days of my life. We never lost touch, but if it hadn't been 2020, we would have never spent the days like this.
So, while 2020 has taken away a lot of things from you, it has also given you the pleasure and satisfaction of appreciating the little things in life.
Tell me about your favourite moments in 2020.

My favourite moments of 2020 if I talk about were the pre-covid one’s, but considering COVID too, I had a few special reliving moments while lockdown which were like, learned to cook, playing board games, best part about it was watching sunsets, working out, watching old movies with parents, reading novels, one thing which I learned at that time was to love my family more and spending time with them which I think we’ll had left far behind, summing up all of that in a short one otherwise I feel I’ll write a blog here, haha.
